Tanzania Family Safaris – the ideal safari & beach holiday destination
Take your kids on safari and let them explore Africa’s wonders – there is no greater adventure! The chance to see wildlife in their natural habitat is a magical and unforgettable experience. Whether it is the expression of surprise on their faces when elephants pass the vehicle, or their excitement when they spot a cheetah, leopard or lion. It will inspire lifelong interest in Africa’s iconic wildlife!
Tanzania is a family-friendly country. It’s the ideal holiday destination if you want to combine a family safari with a relaxing beach stay as the island paradises are only a short flight away. Create memories to last for a lifetime! Many accommodations focus on families but there is a lot of variation when it comes to child-friendly activities and special rates. Key to a successful family safari is therefore good planning!
Children aged 6 and up will take delight in safaris. There are countless activities apart from traditional game drives so that children don’t get bored quickly. We cannot wholeheartedly recommend a safari with children below the age of six as they easily tire from early morning starts and become impatient when confined to a vehicle for prolonged periods. They are often also restricted in the activities.
