Ngezi Rainforest

The Ngezi Rainforest is one of the last remaining areas of indigenous forest that once covered much of the island. It is a protected reserve that is home to a variety of endemic bird species (including the famous Pemba Flying Fox) as well as bushbabies, black colobus and vervet monkeys. A guided walk with a forest ranger is a great way to spend a day on land.
